Nowadays, it is quite often to reboot series movies which seem like terminated, but in this case it is little bit surprising to me. Not only the sequel coming out after 30 years but also the creator of the series directing by himself.

This movie is not the story that is directly connected with the previous series. This movie brings basic settings and main characters in the dismal future, interpreted modern style attuned to 21 century as the same adventure movie of his previous films.

What makes this movie special is the most incredible action. We may think there is no any difference from other movies, but nowadays any movie cannot be compared with this movie in terms of the ratio and intensity of the action. It is not easy to make like that. Most action movies are spent on boring description more than half of the running time to make reasons for coming out actions. It is not easy to make movie interesting enough to overwhelm the audience. In general, after only 10 minutes, it starts to get bored. But George Miller made a huge spectacle which excites continuously the audience with an old material more than 30 years. At this point many people come up with computer graphic, but computer graphic was used limited area. Computer graphic was used less than 20% in the action scene, even though it was used, it was used passively for wiping out wire or such as depicting for cutting off arms.

We may think the story is poor because it adapted nonstop action with limited dialogue.

But the direction of the film was made to reduce significantly the weight of the story itself rather than the plot of this film was poor. In fact, the motivation of chasing scene was provided by not dialogue but visual method such as a visual appearance of character and action scene.

To add additional for the people who want to see this move, don’t need to see the old series to understand this film. If you try to see the old series movies on satisfaction with this movie, many people would be rather disappointed. Mad Max series, getting high marks so far, that's because we consider the environment at the time of production. Four decades is not a short time as eye candy movies.
